Santa Cruz is a brand founded in 1973, and its originators are Rich Novak, Doug Haut and Jay Shuriman. This is a brand of which it is safe to say that if it were not for it skateboarding would not look like it does today. It is said that Santa Cruz is the oldest skateboarding brand that has stood the test of time. The brand's "Screaming Hand" logo was designed by artist Jim Philips and is considered the most recognizable logo in the skateboarding world.
