Maelstrom brings snowboarding back to its roots with some new touches. This tapered, directional, curved board is designed for recreational riding, carving, drifting through powder and charging
on steep slopes. Comfortable at any resort, the Maelstrom offers edge control of traditional, old-school style, thanks to modern technologies such as 2xtraction traction bumbs along the edge and a hybrid directional camber profile for smooth initiation
and coming out of a corner.

Attention: alternative base color schemes are used to avoid additional plastic base material waste during production! Base colors vary from gray to black. Base colors are not always guaranteed, but we do our best to meet any special requests.

Directional Camber, Rocker Nose:

Rocker in the nose leading to traditional camber underfoot. Float down smoothly
and holds up well on groomed trails.

Flex: 8 Strong, agile and stable directional Flex.

2xtraction bumbs:
additional edge contact points that give the board more control and edge stability, especially
on icy surfaces.

Directional 20mm Setback/11mm Tail Tapered - the board has a narrower tail by 5mm from the nose, as well as inserts shifted toward the tail by 20mm. The setback treatment helps transfer power to the rear of the board,
so that the front floats easily on fresh snow and does not kick up on moguls
which translates into less effort for the rider.

2X Basalt Stringers - Carbon fiber replacement with similar properties. 2 straight strips with similar properties. Basalt Stringers are stretched from tip to tail to increase pop during jumps and cause more edge pressure without lateral rotation for smoother carving and high-speed stability by dampening unpleasant vibrations.
