Academy snowboard
A real Twin with a fun Micro Camber , which is very
responsive providing quick response of the board .By using
camber is a real ollie machine . Good Wood 2019 winner !!
Technical Parameters
True Twin that features Micro Camber construction - Symmetrical board
z Micro Camber between your legs. Created to ride on any leg ,
thanks to the use of micro camber the board responds very quickly,
handles well while maintaining plenty of pop.
Bi-Lite Fiberglass - the use of a biaxial fiberglass.
It is a combination of strength and durability characteristics STS Pretensioned Fiberglass
with the lightest and most energetic fiberglass available
in snowboard technology used in freestyle and freeride boards .
Bi-Lite Fiberglass is characterized by durability of construction.
NS Super Light Wood Core - The technology of NSS construction consists of
bonding laminates of strong, hard wood with soft and very light wood.
The process is carried out using special elastomers that are vibration absorbers.
Ultra-lightweight damper enhances core vibration absorption,
regardless of increasing travel speed. At the same time, the board gives a sense of
full control, stability, reactivity .
Durasurf 4501 Sintered Base - Company Crown Plastics has been a leader for more than 40 years
on the market for sintering material technology. DURASURF 4501 is a high-tech
SPIED high-density slide, manufactured. It is very fast and extremely durable,
that is why it is used for the construction of the vast majority of board models .
Sintered P-Tex Sidewall - newly developed technology used for construction
sintered board sidewalls P-TEX. This design has never failed so far.
Unlike traditional walls ABS, which sometimes have
tendency to crack at low temperatures, sintered P-TEX
retain their integrity at any temperature, even very low temperatures.
Vario Power Grip Sidecut - It involves the use of multiple radiuses (multiple radiuses)
when modeling the edges of the board, which increases the number of contact points
(contact points) responsible for the stability of the board when riding on the edge.
In Power Grip, we can distinguish the following sections:
a) flat section in the rocker zone (between the bindings)
- When under load (bending), it is a wide contact point responsible
for stability in turns, while without weight, on a flat glide facilitates a smooth ride
straight ahead, without the so-called "edge catching effect"
b) going from the middle of the board towards the tip and tail you will find two sections
small (shallow) rays, forming the second and third contact points
c) finally, at the end, we come across sections with large (deep) rays,
which form the last two points of contact,
corresponding to m.in rapid turn initiation.
Summary : boards armed with Power Grip Sidecut have as many as 5 points
contact as opposed to traditional designs with two points of contact,
which improve stability and control of the board, regardless of the conditions on the course.
Low Profile Tip/Tail - The lowered profile of the tip and tail of the board increases the contact area
of the board with snow, which enhances pop when performing an ollie/nollie and adds stability
on jump landings. Profile LPT also improves board lift
and prevents the effect of nose diving into deep powder.
Press Flex Core - This specific Camber core, was created specifically
with freestyle in mind , and its design is characterized by the use of two points
with a reduced flex parameter, which are located between the bindings.
The design was developed to facilitate freestyle evolutions,
especially presses and ollie/nollie.
Harmonic Tip/Tail Damper - Harmonic suppressors responsible
are responsible for absorbing residual vibrations that can occur around tip and tail.
Such a solution improves stability at higher speeds,
and enhances the stability of landings without depriving the board of the
precious pop and freestyle feel.
RDS 2 Dampening System - This lightweight damping system uses
three narrower layers of damping elastomers that are the perfect solution
for achieving effective vibration damping and stability of lightweight structures.
RDS2, strikes a great balance between the stability characteristic of boards
freeride and high responsiveness, which is distinguished by freestyle models.
Elastomeric Underfoot Stabilizers - As the name suggests, this system
vibration absorption is placed directly under the Rider's feet.
EUS is responsible for dampening vibrations, increasing the stability of the board while
higher speeds and a definite increase in comfort for our feet.
Full Wrap Metal Edge - metal edge around the entire board
Matte Top Sheet - Very durable, resistant to scratching and chipping
thermoplastic materials covering the tops of the boards. In addition to its security function
and visual PT have another very important advantage. Surface Matte Topsheets
is far less slippery than other materials. As such, they operate
non-slip, like built-in pads. Such tops include
versions: Carbonium,TruGrid and Premium.
